Trail Riding

The photo on the link is Gary & Ashleigh in Spring 2006, up Calf Creek Game Range,
which is very close to home.  He was so happy to be riding a horse he could trust and
relax on!

We love to go. So do our horses.  We can usually be found 4 or 5 days a week in Spring,
Summer and Fall on some trail in the
Bitterroot Valley of Western Montana.  We
consider ourselves blessed to live here amidst many hundreds of miles of trails, all within
an hour's haul from our front gate.

If we want to venture a little further, there's an incredible selection of scenic trails in the
many National Forests and Wilderness areas of Montana.   See for yourself.  Click the on
the photo below to see the view above Holland Lake on the West side of the
Bob
Marshall Wilderness, coming out after an 8 day pack trip in 2001.  It doesn't get much
more beautiful than that, does it?

And, we have our horses to thank for carting us around.  If I had to depend on my
leg-power, I wouldn't have gotten there!
