Moxie, 2003 Dappled Golden Palomino Foxtrotter mare, 15.2

This is a horse for quarter horse lovers who want a gaited horse.  She’s got a deep,
wide chest and a huge hip, size, bulk and refinement -- and personality plus.  Our vet
has called her “Moxie the Beautiful” since the day she was born and she gaited up the
fence line with her mom, totally full of herself.  We’ve ridden her mainly on the trails,
where she shines.  Her gait is fabulously SMOOTH.  Her regular trail walk has been
clocked at 4.8 mph, though she'll dog along if you ask.  She has a soft, beautiful arm-
chair lope and plenty of overdrive when needed.  She is blue papered.

My Moxie Mimosa has had 3 months professional training and has had many trail
miles out here in the demanding Rockies. Last summer, our grandson rode her and
took her on a pack trip into the mountains.   She’s like the energizer bunny, but
without being pushy or needing to be out in front.

I expect that Moxie’s niche will be as an all-around horse.  We've just recently started
her on cows and she seems to enjoy it.  She likes a challenge and new opportunities
where she can shine.  She’s less ambitious than her mom, Ciera Princess H., who
recently sold on this site. We’re offering these beautiful, classy mares for sale because
we’re planning to stand Moxie’s half-brother as a stallion and need unrelated MFT
and Spotted Mountain Horse breeding stock.

Mox is big boned and solid, having no white markings but a teardrop on her
forehead.  She’s big enough to carry a sizable rider and look good doing it.  She would
be a quality broodmare if you’re looking to breed versatile, top-of-the-line gaited
horses. UTD on all her shots and care.  I don’t have the time to give this girl the
attention she deserves. She could be a star for you.
