Southern Dixie, Bay (tricolor) Tobiano, 2006 MFT, KSMH filly

DNA tested and DOUBLE REGISTERED
Blue papered Missouri Foxtrotter
Spotted Mountain Horse, likely homozygous

Dixie is back from the trainer's.  She has a smooth gait and is full of personality.  She gets
along with everyone and isn’t aggressive in the herd.  She’s stout and correct, and has
loud spots on that tri-colored bay body with the cat tracks spots on one side. She’ll
probably be just about 15H when she matures.  She’s a blue-papered Missouri Foxtrotter,
and also registered as a Spotted Mountain Horse.  Both of her parents were also
registered in both registries, which is atypical in the SMH stock. When bred to a Missouri
Foxtrotter, a Rocky Mountain, a Kentucky Mountain or Spotted Mountain Horse stud, all
of her offspring could be registered.  Her full brother has been used as the example of
type for the Spotted Mountain horse breed.  He stands at stud in Kentucky.  Dixie is a
prime example of both breeds.  UTD on worming, shots and farrier.
