Ciera, 8 yo Black Bay Foxtrotter Mare, 15.2H
This is an exquisite mare. She’s big boned but elegant, having a beautiful head &
teacup muzzle and abundant mane. She is not a beginner’s horse because she’s got a
lot of energy. She foxtrots, but her real strength under saddle is her rack. She racks
slow or fast – and everything in between. She’s well suited to a confident rider that
likes to go. Ciera would be an excellent endurance prospect with her personality,
speed and deep heart girth. We have never tired her out. She is blue papered.
Ciera has had 2 foals, a bay sabino colt in 2006 and My Moxie Mimosa -- a palomino
filly in 2003, also for sale on this site. Both are spectacular examples of the breed,
well balanced, big-hipped, quarter-type horses with size and great gait. We are
selling this mare and her daughter to get unrelated breeding stock as we plan to
stand her last year’s colt as a stallion. Should you wish to breed her, she foals easily
and is an excellent mother.
She is UTD on all her shots and care. She’s had some arena work as well as trail. She’
s smart but sensitive. Under our trainer, she looks like a million bucks.
SOLD,
Thank You Linda & Beau!
I know you'll have many happy years together.
